Boude Moore majored in music at California State University Northridge,
graduating in 1967. He has held the position of choirmaster and organist
at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Santa Monica; the United Methodist Church of
Sepulveda; and since 1988, Prince of Peace.
At Prince of Peace he has
developed a handbell program which has graded classes in six ensembles.
He conducts handbell workshops and master classes focusing on technique
and musicianship.
Notes from his AGEHR Conference class on playing from the Right Brain were
published in the Overtones. His Scherzo on Hyfrydol is published by
Laurendale.
His Alchemy Handbell Ensemble performs for weddings, handbell workshops
and concerts, and community gatherings.
The Christmas season includes appearances with community choruses
throughout Southern California.
Recent performances include the Choral Conductors Guild Convention, the
National Director's Seminar of the American Guild of English Handbell
Ringers, and in the World Festival of Sacred Music - the Americas in the
fall of 1999.
